The feasibility study of the external transport of the ironworks was commissioned by the Ukrgipromez Institute of Dnepropetrovsk. Construction of the plant is carried out in the territory of the Kremenchug district of Poltava region, 10 km to the north of Komsomolsk.
The annual turnover of the railway transportation of the ironworks is:
— Upon arrival — 18, 300 tons;
— Upon departing — 10.400 tons.
Wagon turnover (arrival and departure) — 962 wagons per day.
The feasibility study envisages the construction of the following facilities:

— The development of the Yuzhnii Park station with the laying of one receiving and departure tracks and switching points and signals to the devices of electric centralization;
— The development of Shluzy station with the laying of two receiving and departure tracks and switching points and signals to the devices of electric centralization;
— Railway access to the Yuzhnii Park station — Zavodskaya station of 2.35 km length;
— Railway access to the Shluzy station — Zavodskaya station of 4.05 km;

— Construction of highways number 1 and 2 with platforms and the ramp to the plant with a total area of 61 000 m².

The choise of the transport for plant workers was made during the feasibility study. It is recommended to transport passengers by road.
There are 68 people of additional staff of workers of the plant, serving the external transportation, 6 people of additional staff of workers of «Ukrzaliznytsia».

Construction period — 24 months.
Provided construction of external transport of the ironworks for a feasibility study makes it possible to ensure timely delivery of goods and transport of workers, taking into account safety traffic and optimal conditions for the cargo transportation and passenger service.
